BRICS nations unite in Brazil to drive global advances in astronomy

Summary: The 11th BRICS Astronomy Working Group Workshop will gather leading astronomers, researchers, and communicators from member and partner states. The five-day hybrid conference will feature workshops, outreach activities, virtual observatory training, and institutional visits.

- Scientific Workshop on multi-messenger and multi-wavelength transients (13-14 Oct)
- Virtual Astronomy Training (15 Oct) for students and researchers
- Working Group Meeting of focal points and ministry representatives (Oct 15)

- Visit to National Laboratory for Astrophysics (LNA) and Pico dos Dias Observatory (16 Oct)

Key Projects
The conference will highlight the BRICS Intelligent Telescope and Data Network and share new discoveries pushing the boundaries of human knowledge.
